Catching up with Walk & Talk All-Star Sampson Levingston

Sampson Levingston shows no signs of slowing down as his organization, Through2Eyes, continues to grow. Since our CityMoms tour, Sampson’s Walk and Talk tours have expanded to include new neighborhoods and grown to connect other personal passions. From his February basketball-themed All-Star Walk and Talk Weekend (sign up now!) to his bird-loving Hawk and Talk school presentations and other community engagements, Sampson’s calendar is full.

Throughout 2022 and 2023, Sampson received an abundance of local and national recognition highlighting his many contributions to the Indianapolis community, including his involvement with BUTTER, a visual arts fair featuring the work of Black artists, where he built out a Walk and Talk tour of the Stutz Building, Crispus Attucks High School, and other historic venues that once occupied the Indiana Avenue Cultural District.

No matter where you find yourself in the greater Indianapolis area, you are bound to hear about - or even see - Sampson around town. He is always up for sharing the incredible stories and cultural touchstones of Indy. His love for this city runs deep (if you know, you know!). Sampson continues to make Indianapolis proud, and he is invested in helping others learn and discover the treasures of its rich culture and Black history.

Follow him on Instagram to see where he will be next, or, better yet, sign up for a tour!
