What's In The Cards?

As I sit in contemplation, I wonder what the rest of February has in store.  I decided to seek intuitive guidance and see what the oracle cards say for this Valentine’s Day and the rest of February.

The first thing I feel is many of us need rest.  Self-care is of the utmost priority.  Think of what helps you reset, feel calm, and balanced, and include those more of those practices in your daily life.

Second, it is time to celebrate the awesomeness of you and indulge.  One of the recurring themes that I keep feeling is uplifting the self.  I may not be the gushiest person, but I am all for celebrating love.  Love for self, love for others, and love for this earth.  Connection has been and will be an ongoing need.

Connection and trust.  There is a building of foundation that is happening.  Trust yourself.  Sometimes we second guess our instinct or gut.  There is a wisdom in our soul and in our dreams.

Smile.  There is a yearning for stillness and balance within our surroundings.  A smile can lift your spirit as well as those around you.

Last of all, play.  It is a time for silliness and no thinking!  My children are amazing teachers in reminding me to be in the moment and just have fun.  I believe returning to childlike wonder and joy renews your spirit and brings you back to balance.

Cheryl is a food aficionado. Raised by a family of chefs and amazing cooks and bakers, it is no wonder Cheryl has such an appreciation of food. Between family and friends, so many special memories and traditions were made around food. She enjoys learning new flavors and trying new restaurants. Thanks to past strong and specific pregnancy cravings with her last baby, her passion hit a new level. Her favorite thing to do when the kids are asleep, is to look up new restaurants and peruse the menu as well as looking up many new recipes to try (oh that Pinterest and Facebook feed!). Cooking and baking are her meditation and art. She shares her love of food with her kiddos and hopes to create lasting memories and traditions for them.
