If you mommies are anything like me, you love to hate Pinterest.  I mean let’s be honest…
It has brought creativity to the world and now party planning is a competitive art form!
  I love to search it for everything from home décor, recipes, easy things to keep the kiddos entertained, and DIY projects.  I am a real competitor twhen it comes to ME vs Pinterest Party Decor.  Don't worry, my parties nor decor, ever look as perfect as the ones posted on Pinterest.
A while back I saw gorgeous pictures of tissue garlands, and was like: “OMG I need that garland hanging somewhere in my house!”  And I was right… I did, my DD’s room!  But when I started looking for it on Etsy, they were selling for around $40 per garland.  That’s not in this momma’s budget.  That might be just about the entire budget for the whole party!  So I couldn't blow the budget on tissue and twine.  And that’s just it…I realized they were made from those two materials.
Umm… duh!  I could make that.
So I went to shopping for fun colors of tissue paper and ended up at Party City because I figured they’d have the whole gamut of colors to choose from, and they did.  I went with Teal, Purple & Pink.  {I really wanted to do the gold, but to use in my DD’s room it would have been too much and that is where this is going so don't mind the gold tissue paper below.}

Here is what you'll need:

Tissue paper • Scissors • Ribbon or cord • Hot glue gun (and glue of course!)
...and here is how to do-it!
