Circus Starring YOU...now open at The Children's Museum!
It's easy to forget how amazing our local Children's Museum is. We take for granted the permanent exhibits, the new experiences, and the events they host.
But as someone who travels across the country with her kids and visits museums geared toward kids often, I can say without a doubt we're spoiled by The Children's Museum of Indianapolis.
Have you been recently? You really need to get there.
Last weekend their newest exhibit, Circus-Starring YOU opened and it's one of their best yet. As you enter the Circus, the smell of popcorn is in the air, and the ringmaster bids you welcome from her perch.
Once you're under the big top, you and your family can practice your juggling skills, perfect your roman ladder routine, choreograph your lyra rings performance, and show off your tight rope walking.
There's even a virtual tight rope walking experience perfect for the bravest of circus stars.
Speaking of brave, make sure your little performers slip into a clown costume and pose for a photo op as they shoot out of a canon.
The creators of this exhibit really outdid themselves. The interactive elements will keep your whole family engaged and learning. My daughters could have spent hours spinning and twirling on the lyra rings.
On top of all the hands-on activity, learning about the rich Indiana circus history was really interesting.
There really is something for every age at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis and their newest exhibit, Circus-Starring YOU, is no exception. Get there soon!
